These are some bottles I rendered through mental ray. It took a lot of time to get used to the mental ray process, worth it in the end though, it majorly brings up the quality of your work.

 

Assignments…


Got all the group work done today, all that’s left now is the 3D modelling assignment. It’ll take a while but, hey, I like it. This current assignment was in director 11.5 and it was the bane of my existence. We had to make a promotional interactive DVD. It was the bane of my existence.

Photoshop CS6, Whats New, Beta Review

There are a lot of new enhancements to Photoshop CS6. The first most notable change is the interface. The new screen looks more like Lightroom 4 then Photoshop with its darker background and light colored tool icons. If you prefer the lighter color of previous versions it can be changed.  There are a lot of changes in this version many of which are enhancements to the way certain items are selected and worked with. Many of these changes although superficial, make working with Photoshop much faster.  There are some items that have been moved to new locations for example users of Mini Bridge will now find it at the bottom of the screen and when opened, a Lightroom style filmstrip will be revealed. A lot of the changes are part of Adobe’s JDI initiative. The acronym JDI stands for “just do it” and stems from the Adobe Photoshop team surveying…

I’ve been fairly busy with assignments lately so I haven’t really had much time to spend on WordPress, only a month left and I’ll be finished for the summer months. I’ll try and post the odd time to keep you guys up to date. In the meantime, here’s some pictures I’ve taken over the past few weeks!
